MEET VLADIMIR MELNIKOV, DDS, PHD, FAGD
Dr. Melnikov completed his United States dental training at the University of Texas San Antonio School of Dentistry where he achieved honors in clinical performance. He’s a lifelong student with an emphasis on oral surgery and dental implants. He regularly advances his education through the Pikos Institute, Misch Resnik Implant Institute, and others. He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Focusing on comprehensive health, Dr. Melnikov is passionate about how dentistry can have a lasting impact for his patients. Together, Dr. Melnikov and Dr. Lana continue to be curious, avid learners spurred on by personal experiences with dental treatment and overall health, and the experiences of their families.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Melnikov loves to spend time with his wife, Dr. Lana, and their three children. He values making memories with them by playing hockey, traveling and roadtripping, and enjoying time outdoors as much as possible.
MEET SVETLANA USHERENKO, DDS, FAGD (DR. LANA)
Inspired by her own dentist, Dr. Lana became a dentist passionate about caring for people of all generations. As an advocate for family healthcare, she practices dentistry with an emphasis on prevention, education, and at-home dental self-care.
She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas San Antonio School of Dentistry, and before that, graduated from dental school in Novosibirsk, Russia in 1996. Dr. Lana strives to be the very best in dentistry by constantly learning by earning over 200 continuing education hours every year and attending different courses from prestigious postgraduate programs like the
Kois Center, the Dawson Academy, and the Spear education center. Outside of dentistry Dr. Lana and Dr. Melnikov along with their three children are avid fans of ice hockey. Their dental practice Windsong Dental is striving to play an active role in the life of the local community by supporting the Prosper Ice Hockey Club as well as other local small businesses and organizations.
